CRG KT2 - Gold Line

The new KT2 represents the results of relentless testing by CRG in the Rotax and TaG Class�s throughout the year.rnThe 2016 model receives several changes including a new evolution in the specification of the chassis tube, a new steering system with KPI unique to this model, increased caster in the chassis, a new bearing hanger unique to this model, new design magnesium components and the new gold line image.rnThe steering system offers a new acumen setting on both the stub axles & steering column. The factory have stipulated that this position is the best position for the chassis to be set. They have removed the possibility to adjust these setting to prevent the customers getting it wrong. The KT2 also has a different Kin Pin Inclination to the other models, The stub axle model will be known as RX B. rnThe KT2 will change back to a full circle bearing carrier system but with some changes. While it looks similar to other CRG models the new bearing hanger is narrower, taller and stiffer. Out of the box the ride height is set in the middle which is where CRG recommend it to be but there is plenty of scope to add or remove grip as needed. The carrier offers an additional solution for the mounting of seat stays. The cassette will now be supplied in magnesium along with the brake carrier and wheel hubs.rnThe V09 brake system will receive internal modifications. Some of the initial aggressiveness has been removed to prevent the rear of the kart being unsettled under brakes. The calliper will now be mounted using a forged brake bracket to improve rigidity while the addition of the fins helps to improve cooling. The Master Cylinder will all be in gold as part of CRG�s Gold Line series.rnThe KT2 will change back to a full circle bearing carrier system but with some changes. In true CRG style CRG have been careful to ensure the karts look amazing on track as well as up close. Close up the chassis shows some fantastic detail with gold and chrome trimming running through the sticker kit. However when the kart is on the track the gold and chrome detail blends into the background so the prominent colours and logo are clearly legible. They look Absolutely Stunning
